Our plates are approximately 10 inches in diameter. Each ceramic plate is painted with non-toxic glazes and fired at extremely high temperatures to ensure it is food and dishwasher safe. • Please note: be careful when using the microwave. Unless, it is only for a moment, for short intervals, we do not recommend heating these plates via the microwave. It is important not to take it from the refrigerator to the microwave, or crazing (tiny cracks) can appear. This can occur when a plate goes from one extreme temperature to another. Such as a refrigerator to a microwave, or a hot dishwasher into the cold air. Some dishwashers are high pressure washers that can also cause slight crazing
• We suggest hand washing to extend the life of your hand painted piece, but it is dishwasher safe should you wish to put it in the dishwasher
