This personalized boy's Baptism / Christening plate will make very special keepsake gift to commemorate a joyous occasion. Each plate is custom hand painted and features classic blue stripes along the rim and cross at the center and is finished with your child name and Baptism / Christening date in complimenting green. Our plates are approximately 10 inches in diameter. Each ceramic plate is painted with non-toxic glazes and fired at extremely high temperatures to ensure it is food and dishwasher safe. A great gift idea as a baby boy gift or for a toddler's first special plate. A great tool in teaching them to take care of mom and dad's dishes! This plate will be cherished for many years to come. • Please note: be careful when using the microwave. Unless, it is only for a moment, for short intervals, we do not recommend heating these plates via the microwave. It is important not to take it from the refrigerator to the microwave, or crazing (tiny cracks) can appear. This can occur when a plate goes from one extreme temperature to another. Such as a refrigerator to a microwave, or a hot dishwasher into the cold air. Some dishwashers are high pressure washers that can also cause slight crazing
• We suggest hand washing to extend the life of your hand painted piece, but it is dishwasher safe should you wish to put it in the dishwasher
