Why merino wool
Merino is a natural and sustainable fiber, renewable and biodegradable. It absorbs up to 30% of its own weight in moisture while still insulating, and it is naturally anti-microbial and hypoallergenic, which is why it suits a child’s room as well as it suits their skin.

Is this a good baby shower or nursery gift? It is one of the most requested personalized baby gifts we carry. A knit pillow with a child’s name on it finishes a room rather than filling a drawer, and it stays in place long after the baby clothes have been outgrown.
Which size should I choose? The 12" is the usual gift size and sits well on a nursery chair or in a crib-side glider. The 14" reads as a proper throw pillow on a bed or sofa.
Does it come with a pad, or is it just the cover? A duck feather pad is included, so it arrives complete. The cover has an envelope opening on the back, so the pad can be taken out for washing.
Caramel or Mustard? Caramel is the warmer and more neutral of the two and sits easily in a room that is already decorated. Mustard is the brighter, and the one that reads most like a lion.
Where does the name go? Knit into the front, as part of the design rather than added on top of it. Choose from three lettering styles.
Is there a matching blanket? Yes. The lion is also made as a blanket in the same merino, so a set can be ordered together.
Is merino wool safe for a baby’s room? Yes. Merino is naturally hypoallergenic and anti-microbial. Note that pillows are not recommended in a crib for babies under twelve months, so this is a nursery piece for a chair, shelf or glider until then.
How do I wash it? Hand wash the cover with care and lay flat to dry. Merino is naturally odor-resistant and rarely needs washing.
