Is a personalized scarf a good baby or toddler gift?
For a toddler through to a teenager, yes. For a newborn, our knit hats and blankets are the safer choice, and both come in the same designs and colors.
Gold or Silver?
Silver is cool and modern on Charcoal, Navy, Bleached White and Pale Blue. Gold is warmer on Pale Pink, Sand and Off White.
How big are the dots?
Small and evenly scattered, closer to a texture than a pattern, which is what stops the metallic looking busy.
Will the shimmer survive washing?
Yes. It is knit into the yarn, so there is nothing to crack or flake. Machine wash on delicate and lay flat.
What size scarf should I order?
The Kid's scarf is 6" x 40" and suits toddlers through about age ten. The Adult is 8.5" x 72", long enough to loop twice.
Is it itchy?
No, it is knit in soft acrylic rather than wool, which suits children who find wool scratchy against the neck.
