Is this a good baby shower gift?
It is one of the most requested personalized baby gifts we make. A blanket knit with a child's name arrives before they do and is usually the one kept from the day, long after the clothes and toys have gone.

What order do I enter the initials?
First, Last, then Middle. The last name initial is knit at the center and largest, so J. R. L. is entered as J, R, L and reads JRL with the R dominant. This is the traditional monogram arrangement.

Is there a font choice?
No. The monogram is knit as fixed artwork in Antique Roman, all uppercase, which is what keeps the letterforms balanced against the border.

Gold or Silver, which suits which base color?
Gold is warmer and reads beautifully on Pale Pink, Off White, Sand, and Bleached White. Silver is cooler and sharper on Pale Blue, Heather Gray, Charcoal, and Navy.

Will the metallic feel scratchy?
No. The metallic yarn is spun alongside the acrylic, so it stays soft against the skin while catching the light.

Which sizes does the metallic collection come in?
Stroller (22" x 30"), Crib (36" x 53") and Classic Standard Throw (50" x 62"). There is no XL in metallic, our standard acrylic version is the one to choose for a 60" x 80".

What age is this for?
Not at all. The Classic Standard Throw is a popular wedding, anniversary, and housewarming gift, and works as a monogrammed throw for a sofa or the end of a bed.
