Is this a good baby shower gift?
It is one of the most requested personalized baby gifts we make. A blanket knit with a child's name arrives before they do and is usually the one kept from the day, long after the clothes and toys have gone.
Will the name be in capitals?
No. This design is knit in lowercase Arial however you type it. The round, even lowercase letters are what fit the circle, capitals would crowd it.
Which colors work best?
The chevron needs contrast to hold its shape, and the circle needs it too. Hot Pink with Bleached White is the sample. Navy with Bleached White, Turquoise with Charcoal, and Kelly Green with Off White all work the same way.
How is this different from the Chevron with Banner?
This one sets the name in a solid circle in your accent color, in lowercase Arial only. The Banner version uses an outlined circle and lets you choose from seven fonts, including scripts.
And the Chevron with Monogram Box?
That one takes three initials in a square frame rather than a name in a circle, in Antique Roman uppercase.
What sizes does it come in?
Yes. The chevron carries beautifully at any age, and a 50" x 62" or 60" x 80" in a strong pairing works as a bedroom or couch throw.
Acrylic or merino wool?
Acrylic is machine washable, offers all 29 colors, and stands up to daily use. Merino wool is softer and warmer and makes the more luxurious keepsake. Both come in the same sizes and design.
