What size throw blanket should I order? The Classic Standard Throw (50" x 62") is the usual sofa size for one person. The Extra Large (60" x 80") covers a twin bed, reaches the end of a queen, or works for two on a couch.
Is a monogrammed blanket a good wedding gift? It is the most requested in our range for it. Use the couple’s shared new last name initial at the center with each first initial either side. It also suits anniversaries, engagements and housewarmings.
What order do the initials go in? First, Last, then Middle. The last name initial is knit at the center and largest, so Margaret Anne Whitfield is entered as M, W, A and reads MWA with the W dominant. For a couple, use both first initials either side of the shared last.
Which colors suit a living room? Quieter pairings carry better on a large throw than bright ones. Charcoal on off white, navy on heather gray, sand with heathered coffee, or hunter green on bleached white.
What if I only have two initials? Leave the middle field blank and the two letters will be knit centered and evenly spaced.
Acrylic or merino wool? Acrylic is machine washable, offers all 29 colors, and stands up to daily use on a sofa. Merino wool is softer and warmer and makes the more luxurious keepsake. Both come in the same sizes and design.
