Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the Single Heart & Scalloped Edge?
The original has one plain heart. This version fills that heart with smaller hearts, so it reads with more texture from close up while looking much the same across a room. Both have the scalloped border.
And from Sprinkled Hearts?
Sprinkled Hearts scatters small hearts across the whole blanket with no central motif. Heart on Heart keeps one large heart at the centre.
What is a scalloped edge?
Instead of a straight border, the edge is knit in a series of soft curves. It is worked into the blanket itself, not sewn on, so there is no trim to fray or come loose.
Which font suits it?
Arial is the sample and the cleanest. Corinthia and Amelie are the scripts and match the softness of the scallop. Copperplate is the more traditional choice.
Is the heart the accent color?
Yes — the heart, the smaller hearts inside it, the lettering and the scalloped edge are all knit in your accent color, so one choice sets all of them.
Acrylic or merino wool?
Acrylic is machine washable, offers all 29 colors, and stands up to daily use. Merino wool is softer and warmer and makes the more luxurious keepsake. Both come in the same sizes and design.
