Why merino wool
Merino is a natural and sustainable fiber, renewable and biodegradable. It absorbs up to 30% of its own weight in moisture while still insulating, so a baby stays dry and cozy. It is also naturally anti-microbial and hypoallergenic, which is why it suits newborn skin.

What size is it, and what does it fit? Approximately 27.5" x 35.5". That covers a crib, a stroller or a carriage, and it works as a crib topper for a toddler rather than a full bed blanket.

Is merino wool safe for a newborn? Yes. Merino is naturally hypoallergenic and anti-microbial, and it regulates body temperature, which is why it is recommended for babies more often than cotton or synthetic fleece.
How do I wash it? Hand wash with care and lay flat to dry. Merino is naturally odor-resistant and rarely needs washing, so airing it between uses is usually enough.
