What is the banner?
A knit circular medallion at the centre of the blanket, in your base color, framed by a fine outline in the accent. The name sits inside it, which is what keeps it readable against the chevron behind.
Which font suits this design?
Amelie is the sample and the most popular — the script fills the circle nicely. Corinthia is the other flowing option. Copperplate and Antique Roman read more traditional, and Arial is the cleanest.
Which colors work best?
The chevron needs contrast to hold its shape. Charcoal with Turquoise is the sample; Navy with Bleached White and Hunter Green with Sand work the same way. Two close tones will blur the zigzag.
How is this different from the Chevron with Monogram Box?
This one takes a first name inside a circle and lets you pick the font. The Monogram Box takes three initials in a square frame, in Antique Roman only.
Does it work as an adult throw?
Yes. The 50" x 62" and 60" x 80" carry the chevron well, and a single name in a banner reads as a personalized throw rather than a nursery item.
Acrylic or merino wool?
Acrylic is machine washable, offers all 29 colors, and stands up to daily use. Merino wool is softer and warmer and makes the more luxurious keepsake. Both come in the same sizes and design.
