Can I put a full name on it instead? No - this design takes one initial, knit into the star field. If you would like a name, our Floating Stars with Name & Border design does exactly that, and there is a non-personalized version if you would rather have neither.
Which initial should I use? Most people use the first initial of the first name. For a family gift, the last name initial works well.
Why is there no font choice? The initial is sized and placed for this specific artwork, so it is knit in Copperplate uppercase every time. Changing the lettering would unbalance the design.
Is it a good gift before the birth? One of the best. A single initial only needs the first letter, so it can be ordered for a shower without knowing the full name.
What colors work? The stars and border take your accent color. Charcoal or navy on a light base gives a night-sky effect; hot pink on charcoal is the brighter sample version.
