Personalized Slanted Large Letter Blanket
Our modern slanted initial baby blanket is one of our newer designs and will make a statement in any nursery. One oversized initial, set on a slant, with the name alongside it.
It is knit to order in the USA, and the name is worked into the blanket itself rather than stitched on top, so there is nothing to fray, peel or scratch against a baby’s skin. Choose easy-care acrylic in twenty-nine colors or soft merino wool in nine, pick your base and accent, and it becomes a piece made for one child alone.

Is this a good baby shower gift?
It is one of the most requested personalized baby gifts we make. A blanket knit with a child’s name arrives before they do, and it is usually the one still in the house long after the clothes and toys have gone.
What goes in each field?
The Initial field takes the single letter, knit large and slanted. The Name field takes a first name of up to nine characters set alongside it.
Which colors show the letter best?
The slant needs contrast to read cleanly. Navy with Bleached White, Charcoal with Off White and Lilac with Heather Gray are the most requested.
What size blanket should I order?
The Stroller at 22″ x 30″ is the usual shower gift and fits a car seat or stroller. The Crib at 36″ x 53″ is the one a toddler keeps using. The two larger throws suit the end of a bed or a family sofa.
Acrylic or merino wool?
Acrylic is machine washable, comes in all twenty-nine colors and stands up to daily use. Merino wool is softer and warmer, and makes the more luxurious keepsake. Both are knit to the same size and design.
Care Instructions
100% Skein Acrylic:
- As easy to love as it is to care for: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low heat.
- To maintain quality and avoid pilling, wash separately, especially from cotton towels or mixed fabrics.
- When possible, wash alone for best results.
100% Merino Wool:
- For best results, hand wash in cold water using baby shampoo or a wool-specific detergent. Gently swish, do not rub or wring. To remove excess moisture, roll in a clean towel and press gently and lay flat to dry.
- Dry cleaning is also an option if preferred.
- Treat with love, and it’ll last for years.
