Can I put a full name on this one? No. Anchors & Ropes takes one initial, because the letter is knit into the rope frame rather than added on top of it. If you would like a full name, the Anchor Blanket uses the same nautical theme and takes a name with a choice of seven fonts.
Why is there no font to choose? The initial is part of the artwork, sized and placed for this specific design. Changing the lettering would throw off the composition, so it is knit in Arial uppercase every time.
Which initial should I use? Most people use the first initial of the first name. For a couple or a household gift, the last name initial works well.
