Which two colors make good plaid? Plaid needs contrast to read as plaid. A mid or deep base with a lighter accent gives the crispest grid. Two pale colors will blur together.

Does this work for someone who is not a baby? Yes, and plaid is one of the designs that carries best. The 50" x 62" and 60" x 80" throws suit a cabin, a college dorm or a Father's Day gift as readily as a nursery.

Acrylic is machine washable, offers all twenty-nine colors and stands up to daily use. Merino wool is softer and warmer and makes the more luxurious keepsake. Both are the same sizes and design.
