Is this a birthday gift or a new baby gift? Both, though it leans birthday. A first birthday with the name already knitted in makes it a keepsake rather than a party favor.

What colors make the frosting look best? The cupcake is knit in your accent color. Pale pink, hot pink and lilac read as frosting; chocolate brown gives a different, richer look.

Can I add an age or a number? Not on this design - it takes a name only. For a date, our Repeated Name & Date design knits both.

How many characters? Nine, on every size.

Is this a good baby shower gift?
It is one of the most requested personalized baby gifts we make. A blanket knit with a child’s name arrives before they do, and it is usually the one still in the house years later.

Is it a good birthday gift?
The obvious one. A cupcake and a name say it without a card, and it outlasts the cake by a couple of decades.

Is it only for girls?
The colors decide. Pale Pink with Hot Pink is the sweetest; Turquoise with Charcoal or Bleached White with Chocolate read as a patisserie motif instead.

Which font should I choose?
Seven are available. Copperplate and Antique Roman read most traditional; Arial is the cleanest and most modern; Corinthia and Amelie are the scripts.

What size blanket should I order?
The Stroller at 22" x 30" is the usual shower gift and fits a car seat or stroller. The Crib at 36" x 53" is the one a toddler keeps using. The two larger throws suit the end of a bed or a family sofa.
