Is this a boy blanket? Not particularly. Whales read as nautical rather than gendered, and the color pairing decides the tone - navy on white is classic, turquoise or hot pink on sand reads brighter and softer.
What is the difference from Whales & Stripes? Many Whales scatters whales across the whole blanket. Whales & Stripes places them above a striped border, which is the more structured of the two.
